Why Is My AC Running But Not Blowing Cold Air?

AC that runs but isn’t cold usually has an airflow, thermostat, outdoor unit, or refrigerant issue. Dirty filters, iced coils, a tripped outdoor breaker, or a blocked condenser are common. If you see ice, switch cooling off and run the fan.

Quick checks:

  • Set thermostat to Cool and Auto.
  • Replace a dirty filter.
  • Clear debris 2–3 ft around the outdoor unit and confirm its breaker is on.
  • If it still blows warm, book priority diagnostics; members save $50 and 15% on repairs.
